Sausages

Kermit

If you were to see the note “wv/t2 w.d. or w.a.” in a dictionary entry, what would you make of it?

Dan

Webster verbose, type two. [Taken from] Webster’s Dictionary or Webster’s Anthology.

Kermit

Ok. Now interpret what you just said, and I think I will understand.

(“Webster verbose, type two”? Intuitively, I believe “type one” should be words, so “type two” should be sausages.)

Dan

I just made it up, but I would agree with your conclusion. Was the word in question not sausage-related?
